It seems like almost every race we get introduced to some new rules. The one thing I hate about racing down here is you feel like you're surrounded by a bunch of people with the last name Clinton and they all have track crew shirts on. I won't beat a dead dog, so we won't go over what happened the first race of the year, but sat. night as we were pressuring the lead car with about 5 laps to go, he spun out, we just missed him, and he kept his car going. Well of course there was a caution thrown, but the deemed it a mistake on their part because he kept going and so there was really no need for a caution. I'm no brain Surgeon, but I though the guys that was going the wrong way on the track was the on that made the mistake, but it seems I was wrong. So the car that spun, caused the yellow was placed back on the pole with a green white checkered finish. I was a bit upset and probably didn't get my best start and we ended up 2nd. I'm not too upset at the goofy officials because if I had been doing my job right I would have been out front anyway. I've gotten a bit overconfident and wasn't running that hard the first of the race knowing I would drive by him around mid race. I apologize to the team and will do my best not to make that mistake again!
